A popular gym chain with locations across the Netherlands. There are around 112 branches around the country. The gym offers a variety of fitness equipment and group fitness classes. Once you become a member you have access to every SportCity facility and service. 93% of the members would recommend SportCity to a friend. There are 2 types of memberships, Cityone & Cityplus. The one price is €24.99 and the plus price is €27.99 every 4 weeks. There is not much difference between both. The only difference is the plus gives you access to all the gyms and you can bring a friend for up to 5 times a month. I currently have the Plus membership and I totally recommend it.

Basic-Fit

One of the largest gym chains in the Netherlands, with over 300 locations. Known for its low membership fees and no-frills approach. The basic membership starts at €19,99. There are 2 other types of memberships, the premium and the all in at €29,99 & €49,99 accordingly. The basic membership is enough if you are looking to access the gym and use the cardio and weights on your own.

An upscale gym chain with 6 locations in the Netherlands. It offers a wide variety of fitness classes and personal training. There are also sports facilities such as tennis, Squash, Badminton, and swimming. There are also Family & Kids clubs where there are several activities. The membership starts at €45 euros.

TrainMore

TrainMore has around 26 branches around the country and an interesting concept. Every time you go to the gym, you receive a € 1 discount on your membership. When there is money on the line, we people tend to be more motivated and at it. The atmosphere is insane in the gym and you will meet a lot of interesting people. The membership starts at €62 a month for the 2 years membership, but every time you work out, you receive a discount.

There are a lot of other options around like local gyms and some offices have free gym access too.
