5- Il Pecorino
Il Pecorino is a popular restaurant in Amsterdam that serves up delicious Italian food. Their wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza is very delicious. Their trick is to let the dough rest for 24 to 48 hours. They have both Rosso and Bianche pizzas. I totally recommend trying their bianche pizzas, especially Tartufo. It’s both flavorful and authentic. Their menu includes a lot of options for every taste.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam’s Haarlemmerdijk street, De Pizzabakkers. It is a nice and cozy pizzeria that has been serving delicious pizzas since 2009. Their wood-fired oven pizzas are made with high-quality ingredients and are cooked to perfection. The tomato sauce is home made and most of the ingredients are from family farms back in Italy. Klaproos’s Pizzeria is a pop-up pizza & pasta restaurant located in Amsterdam north. The restaurant gives you a nice old school/industrial vibes. They specialize in traditional Italian pizza made with fresh ingredients and a thin crust. They have very nice unique combinations. My absolute favorites were the Cicciolina & Baccala. They’re a must try.

2- Mangia Pizza
Mangia Pizza pizzeria is absolutely a must go to Pizzeria in Amsterdam. It is located in vijzelgracht, right in the heart of the city. It serves delicious pizza. They did not lie when they said and I quote from their website: ” Book and taste the pizza baked by this special jewel”. The restaurant is always busy and has a very nice Italian vibe to it. Once you enter, you are already in Italy. The service is very nice and quick. They have several classic options and unique flavors and combinations too. My recommendations for this are the Bufala DOP and one of their seasonal pizzas, Octopus. The seasonal pizza does change from time to time. Don’t be afraid of trying something new as I am sure whatever they make is delicious.

1- Di Luca
And the number 1 in my list of top 5 Pizza spots in Amsterdam is Di Luca. I don’t know where to start regarding this one. This is the best Pizza by far in Amsterdam. Di Luca is a small cozy pizzeria located in Amsterdam’s North. They specialize in Neapolitan pizza. Their goal is to bring Naples to Amsterdam. Their ingredients are fresh, carefully selected and imported weekly from Italy. I have visited the place multiple times, and they never failed to satisfy me. The toppings are delicious, but the dough is what does it for me. It is so fresh, fluffy and chewy. You could literally eat the dough without any toppings. They have several options to choose from, but my top favorite of all times is the Quattro Formaggi. Besides the food, the service is very nice, warm and has a personal touch. This place deserves to be the best answer to the question: Where to eat the best Pizza in Amsterdam?
